We counsel our health care provider clients in regard to compliance with the myriad of federal and state laws and regulations that govern the business of health care, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 ("HIPAA"), the Anti-Kickback Laws, the Self-Referral Laws ("Stark"), and the New York Education Law's prohibitions against the corporate practice of medicine and fee splitting.
