Richard has over 50 years of private legal practice, concentrating in land use, zoning, environmental real estate, wills, estate matters, and municipal law.  Richard served as the Penfield Town attorney from 1982 through 2022 and served as counsel to many real estate management companies, home owners associations, real estate owners, and landlords.

Richard and his significant other, Caryl Levinson, live in Penfield. Together they have 4 children and 7 grandchildren.  Caryl serves as the Secretary of the Villas of East Hampton Homeowners Association.  They enjoy traveling to visit their grandchildren, and spending time with friends.
