Amy L. Varel has been elected to serve as the treasurer of the Monroe County Bar Association.  The MCBA is a professional association of over 2000 attorneys that has been committed to serving the legal profession in the Greater Rochester Area for over 115 years.  As a past chair of the Young Lawyers Section, the Membership Committee and the Business Law Council, Ms. Varel has been an active member of the MCBA.

Ms. Varel primarily focuses her practice on business matters. She advises both for-profit and not-for profit businesses regarding matters that include general corporate counseling, employment issues, business purchases and sales, contract preparation, review and negotiation, and planning for and formation of corporations, limited liability companies and not for profit entities. Ms. Varel also advises health care professionals and provider groups in regard to health care compliance matters.
