Nurses’ Week honors the contributions and sacrifices of nurses, and reminds us to thank the nursing professionals who keep us healthy. Each year, it is celebrated between May 6^th (National Nurses’ Day) and May 12^th (Florence Nightingale’s birthday).

MCCM recognized the important role that nurses play in our lives by donating lunch for 12 nurses at Rochester General Hospital’s Women’s Health Services in the Sands Postpartum Unit. These nurses specialize in caring for mothers and newborns, and play an important role in educating new mothers.

MCCM salutes and appreciates nurses in all areas of health care. Thank you for all that you do.
