‘Tis the season for giving. Getting an early start this year, McConville, Considine, Cooman & Morin, P.C. provided a complete Thanksgiving meal to each of eleven families at the YWCA of Rochester & Monroe County. Staff members scattered around town, lists in hand, gathering vegetables, fruits, potatoes, dressing, rolls and desserts, while the firm donated gift cards for the turkey and dairy items. The staff also toured the facility while there delivering meals.  It was eye opening to learn the staggering numbers of folks in need, but also rewarding to see the passion the YWCA has for their residents, and how gratefully those meals were received on behalf of the families they serve. 

MCCM attorneys and staff also went on to provide Christmas gifts for YWCA families, as part of the Y’s “Adopt a Family for Christmas” program. Bags filled with the recipients’ requests for clothing, bedding, toys, and even cleaning supplies, have once again been joyfully delivered!

We live here.  We work here.  And we are proud of our 40 years of service to this community. The opportunity to help make the holidays a little brighter for a few families was as much a gift to us as to them.  At the end of the day, a bit of kindness shared helps to enrich us all.
