Peter J. Weishaar Elected Vice-President of the Penfield Business Association

Jan 1, 2008

The Board of Directors of Penfield Business Association recently announced that Peter J. Weishaar was elected Vice-President at its 2008 organizational meeting. A resident of Penfield, Mr. Weishaar has been an active member in the Penfield Business Association. He was first elected to the board of directors in the fall of 2006, and served as Acting Secretary during 2007.

The Penfield Business Association is the first and longest running business association in the Town of Penfield. The PBA was established by a group of local, civic-minded merchants who believed the Penfield community would benefit from an organization dedicated to promoting local business development through the exchange of expertise and ideas. The organization is dedicated to helping local businesses prosper through marketing support, educational enrichment, business mentoring, and networking opportunities.

A partner in McConville, Considine, Cooman & Morin, P.C., Mr. Weishaar's practice is primarily focused on litigation. He represents businesses and individuals across a broad spectrum of civil litigation matters, including contract and business disputes, labor and employment matters, construction, banking, health care, civil rights and personal injury litigation. In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Weishaar's practice also includes ongoing representation of several of the firm's municipal clients as well as general representation of businesses and individuals in areas ranging from risk assessment and general corporate counseling to the negotiation and preparation of contracts and other documents.
