Peter J. Gregory Joins Advisory Board for Summer LEAP Program at Allendale Columbia School
Apr 29, 2016
As a member of the Advisory Board, Peter J. Gregory will contribute to developing, implementing and promoting Allendale Columbia School’s partnership with School 17 of the Rochester City School District.
The Summer LEAP (Learning Enrichment to Achieve Potential) program is for students entering first and second grade and aims to establish a leading public-private summer education association. It provides low-income students with quality summer learning opportunities, and works to raise reading and math grades and high school and higher education graduation rates. Attending Allendale Columbia School Monday through Friday for six weeks, students receive meals and education in reading, math, health, character development, art and music.
With the theme “Be the Change” and many community organizations providing field trip opportunities, Summer LEAP provides experiences that encourage growth in every aspect of a child’s development.
A 2003 graduate of Allendale Columbia School, Peter also serves as a member of the School’s Board of Trustees and as Vice President of its Alumni Association Board.
Peter is an attorney in MCCM’s litigation group where he represents clients in a broad range of civil litigation matters including personal injury law, collections, and commercial and business litigation.
