Daniel S. Williford Promoted to Partner

The law firm of McConville, Considine, Cooman & Morin, P.C. is pleased to announce that Daniel S. Williford is promoted to a partner of the firm. Dan focuses on estate planning, estate administration, and elder law matters. Dan will meet with individuals and business owners to craft estate plans and documents for the client’s particular wishes and circumstances.
Dan regularly works with clients who are in a fiduciary capacity as an Executor or Trustee to effectively have the client appointed in that role through Surrogate’s Court and effectively administer each estate. Elder law and long term care planning is an area where Dan will guide families through the difficult transition of receiving a higher level of health care and avoiding the financial pitfalls that accompany such a transition.
Dan prides himself on caring for his clients and making himself available to meet their needs. This includes meeting with clients at their homes, health care facilities, a favorite restaurant, or one of our three office locations at a client’s convenience.
Dan graduated from the University of Rochester with a B.A. in History and minors in Political Science and Legal Studies. Dan achieved Academic All-American, and First Team All American status as a tennis player for the U of R, while accumulating the second most wins in U of R men’s tennis history. Dan received his Juris Doctor degree from the Syracuse University College of Law in 2009. Dan is a former Assistant District Attorney in Monroe County and is actively involved in the Monroe County Bar Association, New York Bar Association, Al Sigl Sports Committee, and the Fairport-Perinton Chamber of Commerce. Dan lives with his wife, Stephanie, and their three children, Conor (age 4), Chase (age 2), and Rae (welcomed in August!) where they enjoy all manner of outdoor activities, sports, and finding new playgrounds to explore.
